What to check

A Motorised door opener / closer combined with an electric door release needs to get the timing correct.

It is important to unlock the release before the door tries to open, otherwise the door release may not release under pressure.

It is likely that the motor control will have suitable timing circuits built in.

Otherwise our TIMER has a 2 stage option for this application.
