What to check

This version has 2 transformers, one for Speech and ringing, and the other for all video functions.

The Transformer with two Grey leads is for all video functions.

Check that the Grey leads have about 20v AC on them.

Check the two horizontal fuses, they are both 2 Amp 1.25"" (32mm)

The 12v SW and 20v SW outputs are timed and started automatically when any phone is called. The Red LED should come ON.

Start the timer manually by shorting ""SIG"" to ""-""

Measure the DC voltage between 20v SW and ""- "" it needs to be a minimum of 15v.

Measure the DC voltage between 12v SW and ""-"" it should be 12v DC.

Replace the 900-VRU PCB with upgraded version.

As these pcb's age (1990-2002) the voltage tends to get lower until the video stops working and eventually the lock relay.
