What to check

In the door panel check the subject illumination lamp turns on automatically when any door panel button is pressed. >Measure for 12v DC across the lamp terminals. If the voltage is present but the lamp does not illuminate the lamp has failed.

Corrective Action

Replace lamp.

Additional notes

The lighting within our video-enabled panels is sufficient to illuminate persons speaking into the unit in low light, however, if viewing is required further away from the panel or colour is required at all times (our camera automatically switch to black-and-white mode in low light conditions) we would strongly recommend that some sort of additional ambient lighting be provided.
