What to check

Check the 12v AC output fuse in the power supply. This is a white box which should have both Red & Green LED's showing in the top right corner.

This 12v AC provides power for ringing and (usually) the electric door release.

If the Red LED is off, the 12v AC output fuse may be blown.

Replace the fuse with the same type, 2 Amp 1.25" (32mm) quick blow glass. You may substitute this with a 3 Amp 1" (25mm) which will fit.

Test all bells and door release to check the fuse does not blow again.
